  • We are In-network with Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Meritan, United Healthcare, Oxford, and Oscar Health.

    If you don’t have insurance, don’t worry. We accept private pay. Prepayment is required prior to the time of service and can be made by credit card, debit card, or Zelle.

    For PPO plans not listed, we are “out of network.” Contact your insurance provider to see if you are eligible for reimbursement via out-of-network mental health benefits.

    Other payment methods are not accepted at this time.

  • The cost of sessions at Hello Psychiatry varies depending on the type of service.

    Fees may be reimbursable to you, or applied to your deductible, by your insurance company. Please contact your insurer to determine the out-of-network terms & conditions.


    Initial Psychiatric Evaluations - $350 for up to 59 min and $425 60-75 mins.
    Medication management/Follow-upappointments - $250 for 20-30 min.
    Medication management plus therapy sessions - $375 for 45 min.

    • Once stable, each (non-controlled) prescription will receive two refills for a total of a three-month supply. A $250, 30-minute follow-up appointment is required every three months, or more frequently if a patient is not yet on a stabilized medication regimen. If a patient is stable and does not want to, or cannot attend the required three-month follow-up sessions, a prescribing services fee of $250 will be collected.

    Emotional Support Animal Eval - $175

    Prior Authorization Request without an appointment - $45 per request/attempt/submission.

    Form documentation/form completion without an appointment - $150 & up per form.


    • Document fees and other administrative fees are variable based on the required time to complete and are billed at $150 per hour.

    Coaching/Mentoring - 60 mins | $400, 45 mins | $300, 30 mins | $200.

    NOTICE: The fee schedule above applies to out-of-network (OON) patients and patients paying out-of-pocket (OOP). These fees may also apply for all patient (OON, OOP, INN (in network) insurance) no shows or late cancellations within 48 business hours/2 business days of the scheduled appointment/event.

  • During the initial consultation, you will have an opportunity to discuss what has led you to seek treatment. Although this includes a discussion of your symptoms and past treatment time will be spent on learning about your past and present relationships, family and social life, personal identity, and other factors that have shaped you as a person.

    Other important aspects to consider about the initial consultation include:
    • The initial evaluation may take more than one visit.


    • Medication may not be prescribed at the first visit.

  • Hello Psychiatry is committed to providing personalized and compassionate care to our patients without judgment, and in a down-to-earth approach. We take the time to listen to our patients and work collaboratively to develop a treatment plan that meets their unique needs and goals.

  • Appointments can be scheduled by calling or emailing the office.

  • Many administrative, and other tasks need to be completed by the practice in coordination with the patient.

    The Patient Account enables you to 1) review, complete, sign, and upload forms, documents & results, 2) complete symptom and diagnosis-related questionnaires, 3) manage appointments & reminders 4) participate in telehealth sessions, and 5) communicate directly with your provider.

    The patient account enables many administrative and other tasks so that session time can instead be spent maintaining and improving patient progress.

  • Appointments and Cancellations:

    Appointments are scheduled in advance to align with your goals, treatment needs, and our shared availability. Payments are processed through our billers via debit card, credit card, or ACH transfer.

    Cancellation Policy:

    Cancellation fees are not a form of punishment but rather a means to ensure that your provider can continue to offer care to all patients while fostering accountability and commitment to the treatment process.

    If you need to cancel:

    Within 1 hour of the appointment or no-shows – starting at $200 or up to the full amount of the session fee.

    Rescheduling:

    If there is an available session time within the same week and we can reschedule, the fee will be reduced to $50. Please note that this option is not guaranteed but may be available.

    All fees and outstanding balances will need to be paid in full prior to scheduling any future appointments.

    We understand that unforeseen circumstances, such as sudden illness, injury, or family emergencies, may prevent you from attending a session. If this occurs, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will work with you to address the situation.

  • Refills are provided solely during follow-up appointments.

    To request a refill, please schedule a follow-up session 14 days prior to running out of medication.

  • Yes, however, ADHD is a disorder, not conditioned behavior. Medications are appropriate for verifiable disorders, whereas extinction therapies are more appropriate for conditioned behaviors.
    ADHD diagnosis requires, at a minimum, multi-session assessment, completion of multiple measurement and diagnostic tools, and contacting family, friends, and employers to discuss potential symptoms of illness. Any pre-existing ADHD diagnosis, and its historical prescribing regimen, will be re-assessed to ensure necessity, appropriateness, safety, and effectiveness.
    • Existing neuropsychological testing results or long-term treatment records from a single provider could help expedite an ADHD intake. Please note that stimulant or other controlled substance prescribing will require an agreement to be signed.
    • The fee for an ADHD intake is variable, so please contact us to discuss.

  • Rarely, and only when benzodiazepines can be safely prescribed for evidence-based, short-term uses. In rare cases, these medications are prescribed long-term at reasonable, safe doses at or below 2mg daily, if appropriate. Patients who are accustomed to high dosing above 2mg daily would be required to taper to lower doses and to trial alternatives such as blood pressure medications, and other non-controlled, often equally or more effective medications. Please note that benzodiazepine or other controlled substance prescribing will require an agreement to be signed.

    In rare cases, opiates may be prescribed if a patient's physical pain significantly exacerbates psychiatric symptoms. However, physical pain is a medical condition best treated by medical specialists. Please note that opiate or other controlled substance prescribing will require an agreement to be signed.

  • Booking an initial appointment does not guarantee that your current CS medication treatment will be continued. Nor does it guarantee that you will be accepted as a patient into the clinic. Booking an initial appointment means that you are a prospective patient. It does not guarantee that you or your loved one will be accepted as a patient into the clinic.
